Abstract: The Reba Snapp Ryder Missionary collection details the lives and services of Reba Snapp Ryder and her husband, Stephen Ryder, as missionaries in Japan in the early 20th century. Abstract: Consumers' Research was incorporated in New York City in 1929 as a result of the success of F.J. Schlink's and Stuart Chase's book Your Money's Worth. The organization was first formed as the Consumers' Club in 1927. Consumers' Research, Inc., tested and rated consumer products and disseminated the results of those findings to subscribers. Abstract:

The collection contains correspondence, minutes, newsletters, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, press releases, publicity, and reports related to student activism at Rutgers in the 1980s, specifically the planning and implementation of the National Student Convention in 1988. Additional material includes a small photograph series, several t-shirts, a hat, a banner and several buttons pertaining to the issues student activists were addressing at this time.

Professor Remigio U. Pane was a professor of Italian at Rutgers University from 1939-1990s. As head of the romance language department he oversaw the department's transformation, helped to create the Rutgers Junior Year in Italy programme, and was highly active in educational communities as well as Italian-American ones. This collection reflects Pane's varied interests as well as his tenure at Rutgers.
