Scope and Contents

This series is composed of seven scrapbooks arranged in chronological order. The books contain newspaper clippings that are dated and the origin identified. Scrapbook number four contains a brochure entitled "Progress in Health." Number five contains a letter from President Dwight D. Eisenhower dated February 28, 1957. The books deal mainly with fundraising activities and the debate over the 1954 State bond issue for a State sponsored medical school.
