Scope and Contents
This series of medical slides documents surgical procedures of lower and upper extremities, patient cases, and the prosthetic devices designed and used by Kessler. It contains glass plate slides (3 1/4 X 4inches) and a small quantity of film-slides. The slides consist of photographs, line drawings, and X-rays. They are held in the original wood slotted and metal cases in which Kessler kept them. All of the slides are in black and white, some are labeled; all are undated.
