In the April 3, 1958 issue are featured articles on W.C. Handy. No mention of JPJ in article. In the May 25, 1958 issue on page 9 in the "Music News" section is a short blurb on the Institute of Jazz Studies. No mention of JPJ. Are these items part of JPJ collection?
Obituary published on November 19, 1955. Clipping attached to what appears to be a scrapbook page. On opposite side of page is a letter dated April 27, 1945 from the Tuskegee Army Airfield inviting JPJ to perform for them. Scrapbook page does not match either of the two scrapbooks in collection.
