Scope and Contents
This collection contains eighty 7-inch and 5-inch reels. Many were produced by WHDH and WHDH-TV in Boston. They include the radio program The Top Shelf and the live broadcasts ...from Storyville. Also included is the studio tv program The Jazz Scene and Dateline Boston. There are interviews with Louis Armstrong (1958), Billy Taylor interview, Pee Wee Russell (1957), Jimmy Rushing, Nat Pierce (1958), and Joe Williams (1958).
