Syd Ezrin papers and ephemera

This collection contains papers related to Ezrin's membership in the Duke Ellington Jazz Society Toronto chapter and his membership in the West Mississauga Jazz Muddies. There are meeting minutes, flyers, and mailers. The papers also include extensive record label sales catalogs and discographies, record auction lists, record liner notes, artist biographical information, newspaper clippings, and article photocopies on jazz musicians. Many of the articles pertain to Duke Ellington. There are also programs for the annual Canadian Collectors's Congress, a Metro Jazz Society constitution, and correspondence with other collectors. The collection also includes some music program information written and curated by Ezrin.

The ephemera in this collection encompasses jazz festival booklets, Toronto jazz club event flyers, posters, and jazz calendars. Copies of Micrography: Jazz and Blues on Microgroove from 1969-1983 are included.
