WBGO broadcast audio recordings

This collection is made up of audiovisual recordings from WBGO. It contains 476 CDs and forty-two open reel tapes which document thirty years of performances, interviews, and broadcast programming from the station. Significant portions of this collection are related to WBGO's Jazz-a-thon, Jazz So Far, and Jazz from the Archives programs. Also of note in the collection are interviews with such figures as James Newton, David Baker, Joe Lee Wilson, and Betty Carter, as well as live performances from Buddy Rich, Max Roach, and Tito Puente.
