Claes Dahlgren jazz ephemera

This collection contains jazz concert programs, autographs, Swedish publicity photos, and laminated press photographs. The press photographs have inscriptions on them from artists Rex Stewart, Red Rodney, Tyree Glenn, Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, Marion and Jimmy McPartland, Joe Holiday, Zoot Sims, Rolf Ericson, Terry Gibbs, Lee Konitz, Max Roach, Art Farmer, Babs Gonzales, Eddie Barefield, and Oscar Pettiford.

There are signed programs from Duke Ellington and his band from a Swedish 1939 concert. Also autographed is a Mills Brothers Swedish concert program, a Jimmie Lunceford program, and the All-American Band 1944 in a Jazz Concert at the Metropolitan Opera House with autographs by Coleman Hawkins, Roy Eldridge, and Billie Holiday.
