Eleanor Amenta Ashbrand autographs collection

This collection contains autographs and autographed photographs. The autographs are loose pages from an autograph book and many are addressed to "Eleanor and Joe." There are signatures from many jazz performers including Benny Carter, Ella Fitzgerald, Jimmie Lunceford, Billy Eckstein, and Milt Buckner. Also included are autographed press photographs with multiple signed photographs from Jimmie Lunceford. There are also signed photographs from members of his band, Lionel Hampton, Billy Eckstine, Earl Hines, Benny Carter, and Duke Ellington.
