Scope and Contents

This collection documents Granato's professional career. It comprises primarily photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence, and news clippings.

Scrapbook 1, circa 1930-1941, contains news clippings, studio portraits, cartoons, handbills, caricatures, and approximately two hundred, mostly candid, black and white photographs. Scrapbook 2, circa 1918-1936, includes black and white candid photographs, studio portraits, telegrams, caricatures, artwork, and a diploma.

Of note in this collection is a telegram and letter from Jimmy Durante.
