Scope and Contents
Series 3 includes a comprehensive collection of the Foundation’s financial papers and includes receipts, check registries, deposit slips, disbursements, income, tax forms, and financial statements from the Foundation’s certified public accountants, banks, and investment firms. It also features correspondence with financial institutions and persons, including a shift made in the Foundation’s accounting firm in the 1990s prompted by several years of unfiled taxes.

Arrangement
The arrangement follows original order where possible. The Foundation’s record keeping changed over time. In some years all financial documents were intermingled, in others income, disbursements, receipts, and taxes and other forms were stored in separate folders. In some periods materials were foldered according to the fiscal year (July-June), in others, according to calendar year. This arrangement retains original order where possible. In some cases, materials were not stored in any clear order or were loose within boxes. In those cases, the arrangement attempts to split materials up based on the following categories: disbursements, income, receipts, statements, and correspondence.
Materials are grouped by type of records (e,g. mixed financial records, disbursements, income, statements, tax forms and so on) and arranged chronologically.
