This series contains 35 years of personal correspondence provide a glimpse of relationships McGhee had with family, friends and colleagues within jazz, including his second and third wives, Sandy McGhee Hines and Tina Teahan McGhee, who acted as McGhee's manager and did so later for other musicians.
