Scope and Content

This extensive collection contains newspaper clippings, pamphlets, flyers, photographs and letters. It is the product of a converted library vertical file and was not previously collected by any one sole entity. The content spans decades of student activism and unrest from 1922 until the 1980s with most of the focus on the 1960s and 1970s.

Each box of this collection is its own series as follows: I. Organized Protests, 1922-1975; II. Student Activism Groups, 1963-1977; III. General Student Dissent, 1968-1977; IV. Enrollment Statistics and Personal Files.

Most files in this collection have been described to the item level.
