This folder contains letters to Meder concerning problems, expansion of the English department into another building, policy pamphlets, updates and responses on high school visits, professor work loads, issues concerning absences and grammar classes retirement policy for University staff, instructions for applying for grants from the New Educational Media Branch of the Office of Education, calculation of credits received for laboratory work, issues concerning students and the ROTC requirement, differing opinions between the English department and other departments on the standards of productivity necessary for promotion, members of various Coordinating Committees for certain academic or teaching areas, participation in teaching a course through an educational television station (WNDT) and a copy of academic calendar. Also included is a report of University undergoing evaluation by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Many correspondences are from J. Milton French.
