Departmental Education Policies,, 1954-1962

This series contains meeting minutes, reports and questions to be raised at meetings, reevaluation of current policy from the Committee on Educational Policies, a copy of a revised questionnaire (evaluation form) for students in the English department. Another anonymous questionnaire of professors and graduate assistants for the Freshman English administered by the Departmental Committee on Educational Policy was created to see what they thought of the new policies, grading, class discussions vs. lecture, time spend grading and how many hours the system was saving them. The resolutions regarding required classes made by the Committee on Educational Policy needed to be approved by some of professors from the department for the college of English. Some of the professors approved the policies without question, some protested part of the resolutions and some just made brief comments on each.
