Scope and Contents

These records include information related to the oyster and shellfish industry, with a number of the items being works created by researchers. There is also information on the oyster industry, most notable being an oyster tasting with wine pairings from 1937.

Also included in this series is a bound copy of historical sources that Dr. Melbourne Carriker compiled regarding the various organizations involved in the oyster and shellfish industry. These sources may have helped him create his book on the history of the N.S.A.
