Scope and Contents
Summary: The Subject Files series provides an overview of the many aspects of Rutgers that Schlatter was involved in. These areas ranged from those pertaining to students, faculty, administration, and the community at large. The material reflects that Schlatter was in constant communication with other members of the university, or being copied on correspondence regarding a variety of matters.
The subjects in this series range from the basic functions... of administrators (salary, budget, and personnel issues) to dealing with social changes in the 1960s (the Urban Studies Center material). A number of folders detail events and concerns of individual departments and schools at Rutgers' campuses in New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden.
