X. Christmas Festival/Service,, 1922-1959, 1962-1965, 1967-1971

Each folder includes some, not all, of the following: correspondence, invitations, instructions for the service, songs used, toasts made, dinner lists, lists of ushers, yule log carriers, newspaper clippings, recommendations and lists of twenty-eight honored seniors to stand on the stairs. In 1939, a poll was taken by the Cooperative Government Association and it was decided, due to the result of the poll, that no more select groups of seniors would stand on the stairs for the ceremony. In 1946, the Dean looked for a better way to choose the seniors for the stairs, but this practice did not return, at least before 1947.
