I. Correspondence and General Files, 1948-1999

Series I consists of files containing correspondence as well as general files kept by Rowen. The correspondence is largely focused on Rowen's published material, and includes some personal reviews and comments on his work. Some of the correspondence is in Dutch. General files includes material related to Rowen's areas of research as well as the Lindbeck Award for Distinguished Faculty Research, which Rowen received in 1980 from Rutgers University.
