Winter is lingering and the river is still closed. When the steam boats run, a letter written at Kingston in the afternoon reaches him the next morning. Becoming greyer and graver at age forty-two. At urging of the trustees, recently attended laying of corner stone at a new academy in Jamaica, L.I.
