Scope and Contents

Summary: This series includes the following: Speeches written by Dr. Agger and given at various committee meetings and conventions on economic matters. One popular topic was the impact of WWII on the world economy and economic recovery.

Articles written by Dr. Agger on economic policy for various scholarly economic and banking journals.

Notes and outlines for an article on bank functions and operations for Collier's Encyclopedia. Correspondence regarding payment and a publishing contract. Drafts of the article and a bibliography.

Draft of a human-interest article about Dr. Agger's college football days at the University of Cincinnati. A letter from a college friend about the article, it had been published in the Cinci Alumni Magazine.

Drafts of outlines for an economics teacher's workshop led by Dr. Agger. The lecture was entitled "how does a free enterprise function?" Dr. Agger delivered this lecture at a few different workshops for teachers in economics education. It was sponsored by the New Jersey Committee on Economic Education, Rutgers University, the New Jersey Council for the Social Studies, the New Jersey Association of Secondary School Principals, the New Jersey Association of School Superintendents and the Joint Council on Economic Education. Also, a schedule of workshops, and a list of various other speakers in the lecture series.

Lists of books organized by economic topic (banking, statistics, etc.) created by Dr. Agger. It could be a reading list for his classes. Also included is his own bibliography of articles he authored.
