Summary: This series includes the following:

Letters to various associations that Dr. Agger was a member of such as American Business Shares, Inc., and American Friends (an organization that helped families in postwar Germany) regarding membership dues, contributions and nominations to committees. Also, invitations to speak at various committee meetings and conventions. Letters regarding articles he wrote in professional journals and their republication, drafts sent for editing, etc. Letters to government officials and agencies (such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, former governor of New Jersey Alfred Driscoll and Congressman Daniel A. Reed) regarding speaking engagements for his associations and lobbying for monetary policy changes. Pamphlets from association meetings and stockholder reports. Initial statement of the "Brentton Woods Program" proposal to congress sent for his approval.

Personal correspondence includes letters regarding college courses for children of friends, career advice, and manuscript advice to colleagues. Letters from colleagues asking for investment advice and those overseas during the war imploring for help with visas and jobs. Letters regarding stock purchases and sales. Letters from former students who went to serve in WWII talking about their experiences. Also, his efforts to help them continue their studies when they returned home. Letters of introduction and recommendations for Rutgers students. Notes from colleagues concerning drafts of his book. Appeals from people for his help regarding visas for their relatives in post war Europe since Dr. Agger's son-in-law worked at the State Department.

Correspondence ordering materials for class lectures from the Treasury Department and other government organizations. Subjects included the development of the International Monetary Fund. Letters regarding which books he should use for his courses. Letters from his publisher regarding his book Money and Banking. Royalty receipts from the sales of his book. Correspondence regarding rent control and real estate matters in New Jersey, the appointment of local advisory boards and his requested service on these boards. Letters regarding the upkeep of his house. A copy of the lease and rent payment receipts for his house.
