IV. Correspondence,, 1962-1979,, bulk: bulk 1970-1973

Summary: This series consists mainly of letters relating to studies and papers that Chernick was working on at SMLR. Specifically there are letters and memos related to studies on workers and their attitudes toward work as well as letters inquiring about specifics noted in the Fact Finding Study subseries. Several letters also discuss Chernick's involvement in developing and expanding the scope of SMLR studies during the 1960s and 1970s.

One part of note in this series is the letters personally written by Chernick in French to his foreign colleagues.

Even though the contents of this series relate to other series these files were maintained by Chernick as a separate series and have been kept so accordingly.
