Scope and Contents

Summary: This series contains all materials pertaining to Clara Kangler's education, from eighth grade through to her Masters. There are eight notebooks of course work. It is more than likely that all of these were a product of her undergraduate career at the New Jersey College for Women. All of the notes were originally contained within two or three ring binders. Folder 9, box 3 was found in batch one of the correspondence series. The work within folder 13, box 2 dates between 1933 and 1935. However, this folder also houses poems which have neither date nor author. Box 4, Folder 2 consists of Clara's Masters thesis on Sarah Grand, an information sheet on how to write an essay, and seven newspaper clippings on the death of Sarah Grand. Both theses (Box 4, Folders 2 and 3) were initially bound with metal fasteners.
