VI. Relations with the Boy Scouts of America

Scope and Contents

Among all the civic activities John K. Medoff took part in, his involvement with his local and regional Boy Scout chapters and councils is the one that might seem a bit out of place. In fact, a news release from Rutgers University made him appear out-of-place as a Boy Scout leader, having no sons of his own. In any case, Medoff was highly regarded as a Boy Scout leader, helping shape the lives of young men in his town and others. These records detail some of the activities and programs Medoff took part in during his time as a scout leader.
