From the Collection:
The Stanley Ring Klion Papers (1942-1958) include personal correspondence between Klion and his parents during his service in the United States Armed Forces between 1942 and 1946. Also included are military documents and certificates, as well as his "201" or military personnel file, which dates from 1942-1958.
The personnel files include material such as physical examinations and medical records regarding his back injury and subsequent surgery, correspondence regarding promotions, military training scores and certificates, and other records of his service.
Folders 3-8 contain chronological indexes to the materials located therein.
