Summary: This series traces the unsuccessful Republican Party bid by Emery Toth and Randy Corman to oust the incumbent Democrats, George Otlowski and Jim McGreevey, in a 1989 Middlesex County election for the New Jersey Assembly. Includes advertisements, broadsides, campaign literature of supporters and opponents, correspondence, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, press releases and the texts of speeches. Documents the candidates' activities, positions, and strategies throughout the campaign and immediately following the election.
