Scope and Contents

Summary: The Library Buildings series folders contain documentation of the planning and building processes of the various libraries built under the direction of Cameron. These files provide documentation of the planning and construction of the Douglass College library, the College of South Jersey library, the Newark Law Library, and the Archibald S. Alexander Library, as well as general information on Rutgers Library Buildings planning committees. Planning committee folders, general and for the specific libraries, contain meeting reminders, meeting minutes, memoranda, documentation of the planning process, actions taken to implement plans, and progress updates. Folders by the name of the individual libraries contain construction plans, blueprints, drawings, photographs, construction contracts, material order forms, and progress reports.
