Scope and Contents

This collection contains documents from Holt's time in the US House of Representatives. It includes newspaper clippings, press releases, awards and certificates, and quick access files of day to day pertinence. There is also material related to Holt's campaign runs. This includes mailers, bumber stickers, demographic studies, events, and staff correspondence. Additionally, this collection contains constituent mail, audiovisual material, and photographs. Furthermore, this collection has documents related to legislative matters. This primarily includes material on voting and elections, the Intelligence Committee (on which Holt served while in Congress), and BRAC, as well as a variety of other issues. Of particular note is the material in the Intelligence Community subseries of the Legislative series on the topic of Russia and US relations with Russia. This includes material on emerging threats to national security, as well as future relations in terms of terrorism, organized crime, anti-democracy, and growing authoritarianism.
