Correspondence and other papers of George P. Woolley (1830-1885) and his relatives, including persons with the surnames of Robbins (his wife's family) and Downey (descendants). The collection focuses on Ocean County, N.J., and includes letters written from Burrsville and Forked River. Among the letters are a few written by persons serving in the military during the Civil War and three written by a member of the U.S. Cutter Service.
