Scope and Contents
The collection is comprised mainly of photographs showing the Elastic Stop Nut Corporation of America's various New Jersey plants. These include interior and exterior shots of the plants as well as images of the day-to-day operations at the plants, including the workers, the cafeteria, tours of plants, the products made there, and other scenes.

Biographical / Historical
The Elastic Stop Nut Corporation of America (ESNA) was founded in 1927. Their first plant in New Jesey was in Elizabeth before they moved to Union in 1940. In 1942, a second plant in Union opened, and additional plants would continue to open in the 1950s.
