Scope and Contents

The Kassof Family Farm records consist of two bankers boxes of materials dating from 1939 - 1968. The collection is a gift of the Estate of Allen H. Kassof and includes records realting to the running of the farm as well as the history and personal papers of the Kassof Family. The poultry farm was located in Dover Township, Ocean County, NJ. Types of records found in this collection include financial and legal documents, farm ledgers, photographic prints, and other papers. Also included are the transcripts of oral history interviews from Allen Kassof with his daughter, Anita.

The video files of the oral history interviews done by Allen Kassof in 2008 and 2010 will be made publicly available once the collection has been processed. Additionally, digitized photographs will also be made available.
