Scope and Contents

Papers of a Republican member of U.S. House of Representatives, 1995-2019, who served New Jersey's 11th congressional district comprising all or much of Morris County plus portions of surrounding counties. The papers include some or all of the following: policy files (official correspondences with administration officials and members of congress on issues); selected newspaper clippings; files from hearings that the congressman attended (preparatory materials, his statements, questions, notes and official bound books); originals of the Congressional Record in which the Representative had statements; approved constituent drafts (prepared responses on legislative issues); DVDs, tapes and photographs of the Representative; significant scheduling events or letters (e.g., inauguration invitations and events with administration officials) and the Congressman's schedule; memorabilia type items including a selection of significant awards; constituent newsletters; and staff lists.
