Checkbook

The records of the Jersey City BPW consist of approximately 1.2 cubic feet of material spanning the period 1948 to 2002, with some gaps. The papers are housed in three manuscript boxes and one oversize folder. The collection contains bylaws, minutes, membership rosters, reports, financial documents, correspondence, newsletters, awards, and newspaper clippings.

The collection is divided into nine series: I. Bylaws, II. Minutes and Agendas, III. Newsletters, IV. Membership Lists, V. President’s Files, VI. General Files, VII. Financial Documents, VIII. District Files, and IX. Certificates and Awards. The President’s Files series is further arranged into three subseries, and the Financial Documents series is further arranged into six subseries.
