Scope and Contents
Julia Barricklo Fouché became the last De Klyn descendant to own Bow Hill, the family estate near Trenton in Hamilton Township, NJ. Her correspondence with Edna Netter documents the disposition of family heirlooms and the contents of Bow Hill, the final sale of the mansion to the Hamilton Township Historical Society, and their lengthy friendship. The two women traveled together, visited each other, and maintained a very personal and cordial correspondence. Letters include arrangements with Henry F. Du Pont for a 1941 visit to Winterthur.
