Protests/Demonstrations - ADHOC was an organization funded by the NY Council of the Arts and was originally founded to protest the sexism in the Whitney Museum's 1970 annual. After the annual the organization continued with other art-related activism and protests. Members include Poppy Johnson, Faith Ringgold and Lucy Lippard.
