Summary: Files kept by Gertrude Dubrovsky while working on the Farmingdale project (1974-1990). Includes correspondence with prospective informants (1976-1977); correspondence between Dubrovsky and the National Center for Jewish Film at Brandeis University soliciting information about Yiddish films which were shot in New Jersey, which she used in the introduction to Land was Theirs; typed and handwritten indexes to the videotapes in the Farmingdale collection prepared by Dubrovksy, Sidney Gray and Linda Oppenheim (1974-1975), also including handwritten comments on the events videotaped; and miscellaneous documents related to the project such as research notes, newsletter citations about funding, a conference program with references to rural Jewish communities and the rough draft of a brochure.
