Local 156 Headquarters (Union Halls)

The first union hall for Local 156, at 74 Carroll Place, is shown; the union's presence there began in 1915. A 2002 photo shows the exterior of 271 Remsen Ave., the location of a later hall. Members are shown with a concrete white eagle, rescued from a demolition site and later installed at the union hall.
