SCRAPBOOKS,, 1967-1989

Summary:Primarily press clippings from such newspapers as the Woodbury Daily Times, The Gloucester County Times, the Gloucester County Shopportunity Good News, the Gloucester North Shopper's Guide and The Record Spirit. Starting in approximately 1973, materials other than press clipping begin to be introduced into the scrapbooks. Items such as photographs, award ribbons and certificates, pamphlets and newsletters appear with increasing frequency as the years progress. The clippings and other materials document club activities, including: meeting announcements and programs, District and State Federation conferences, election of officers, recruitment, involvement with charities such as the YMCA Building Fund, community projects and sponsorship of delegates to the Annual Girls' Citizenship Institute at Douglass College. The scrapbooks were assembled by the Public Relations committee.
