Summary: Documentation of Cahill's service on the House Judiciary Committee. The documents in this series address several subjects, including specific pieces of legislation before the committee, general topics of legislation before the committee (such as civil rights, narcotics and crime legislation), the operations of various subcommittees (such as the immigration and naturalization subcommittee and the special subcommittee on state taxation), and in some cases, specific topics before subcommittees, such as Cuban refugees. Included in the series are incoming and outgoing letters, congressional studies and reports, bills, and hearing transcripts, and statements and testimony before the committee and its subcommittees.

The documents in this series from the 90th Congress (1967-1968) pertain almost exclusively to the subcommittee on immigration and naturalization.
