Winter Walk,, [Feb. 1946]
Dates
- [Feb. 1946]
Scope and Contents
Lubell 10/5: 143
Lush, colorful watercolor (with ink and wash) of a family, or at least a group of adults and children, walking through a picturesque snowfield. Aside from a pink house in the distance, the only objects are sparsely placed trees drawn with brown and grey colors. A short, barely filled in wall separates the people from nature, and blues are used for both the ground and cloudy sky. Some minor detailing exists in the form of pen lines, primarily in patterns on the clothing. Title and date are very faint in the lower right corner. Lubell 138-146 are of similar subjects and dates, with the medium for some focusing more on gouache or watercolor and others more on line drawings in pen or graphite pencil.
