Two ink drawings on grid-lined tracing paper. Animals, “merfolk” and plants surrounding a central figure of a double-tailed mermaid. 326a is drawn in ink with minimal penciled-in decoration, while 326b is colored with pastel and marker, as well as having some elements drawn with graphite pencil. 326a has the notation “Final” in the upper right corner. In 326b, many of the figures are colored in with crayon or colored marker, penciled figures and ornamentation supplements the ink drawings and white gouache covers unwanted lines. Pencil numbers appear in the lower half of the design, and a notation below indicates the [source?] of the drawing: “-10- Big Book Greek Islands Embroid[ery].” A sample ornamental leaf design is in ink on the verso.
