An ink and wash drawing of an urban landscape, with people walking along a road. This piece was one of three in a folder labelled “Drawings Milltown, Newburgh NY, 1940.” While all three have different compositions and colors and use of space, all feature stark spaces filled with buildings and architecture but almost devoid of people. In this drawing the palette is exclusively black and dark blue.
