One of eight black ink and wash drawings (with gouache) from a folder titled Spanish Ballet Costumes, with an additional notation “for Benjamin Zemach, N.Y.C., 1939.” These drawings are of various characters and costumes, presumably done for a New York performance piece. Each identifies the character portrayed. This piece, identified as Chorus, is of a man and a woman, both wearing large shawls. Notations of colors, quantities (?) and that the shawls are not to be lined. “OK” penciled in lower left corner. See Lubell 164-171 for similar drawings.
