Scope and Contents

Lubell 3/2: 129

Pen, graphite and colored pencil drawing (with watercolor and [crayon?]) of an array of coneflowers bursting out of a white, indistinct background. The black ink use is noticeably scarce; it can only be seen providing outlines for the petals and buds. Very little pencil can be seen as an outline for some of the stalks as well. Additionally, said stalks are in colored pencil, while [crayon?] forms the orange lines that help define the yellow wash for the petals. Notation on lower right: June 26.
