Lubell 1/4: 217
Collage of various cut out pieces of paper with ink drawings of a forest clearing or shrine. Many of the shapes appear to be either trees, lichen, or antlers, with black paper for a silhouetted horizon and a brown-white-black frond pattern as the foreground. The center of the piece is of a female totem, with horns and a head that appears similar to many African mask designs. Ink colors are brown, grey, yellow, blue. Pieces are arranged on brown paper. Signed Winifred MIlius Lubell.
