Scope and Contents

Summary: Documents Consumers' Research's interest and assistance in providing consumer education to schools and the public. Records include correspondence, curricula, slides, scripts for slide shows, parts of theses and school reports on consumerism, magazine and newspaper clippings, and other publications. Subjects includes adult education & extension services, CR's assistance to pedagogues & pedagogy, CR's aid in consumer courses, information for papers on CR & the consumer movement, CR's relations with libraries and social agencies, student theses and reports, Charles S. Wyand's thesis, and use of CR materials in colleges and secondary schools. Also includes slides, slide show scripts for programs relating to bicycle safety, deceptive packaging, food additives, home safety, testing at CR and other subjects.
