Scope and Contents
Summary: Documentation of all manuscripts submitted to SIGNS as well as their editorial route. Included in the record are incoming and outgoing correspondence for both accepted and rejected manuscripts, routing forms, referee comments, and editorial comments.
There are slight variations in format between those manuscripts processed at Barnard and those submitted to Stanford. For example, Box 19 contains "unlogged manuscripts," i.e. manuscripts which did not receive an in-house review.

Arrangement: Unlogged manuscripts are arranged alphabetically and chronologically. Logged manuscripts are arranged by date received by journal.
