PRESIDENTIAL E-MAIL,, 1996-1997.

Dates

  • 1996-1997.

Scope and Contents

Summary: Printouts of electronic documentation, emails, kept by Annette Meyers during her service as president of Sisters in Crime recording the activities of the organization and specific SinC members. The records pertain to various subjects, including correspondence, SinC publications, publicity, major conventions, trademark protection, chapters, steering committee issues and meetings, the Internet, special interest groups, SinC projects and by-laws. Included in the records are incoming and outgoing emails.

These records are particularly interesting because the informality of the correspondence depicts the often uninhibited responses of Meyers and those sending her messages. The documents show how officers and members work together on a daily basis and solve issues brought forth to the organization.
