Contents arranged chronologically.

Series consists primarily of press clippings from such newspapers as the Somerset Messenger-Gazette and the Courier-News. The clippings and other materials document club activities, including: meeting announcements and programs, election and installation of officers, recruitment, announcement of scholarships, and the activities of the NJFBPWC and NFBPWC. Materials such as photographs, letters, certificates, programs, and pamphlets are also to be found in the scrapbooks. The Public Relations committee assembled scrapbooks.

Original scrapbooks include volumes for 1952-1960, 1960-1964, 1964-1966, and the Somerset BPW's 25th Anniversary celebration in 1973.

Original volumes for the 1948-1951, 1952-1964, and 1963-1977 scrapbooks were not retained due to preservation difficulties (acidic newsprint and deteriorating adhesives). Photocopies of the originals may be found in the first three folders of this series and photographs removed from these scrapbooks can be found in the PHOTOGRAPHS series.

The 1985-1986 scrapbook contains photocopies made by the Somerset BPW's archivist of historical materials kept by charter member Alice G. Carson.

The last folder in this series contains press clippings that were not mounted in scrapbooks. It appears that most of the clippings prior to 1979 are duplicated in the scrapbooks themselves.
